Alberghi, residence campeggi e villaggi turistici sono stati chiamati dalla Regione Toscana a realizzare una serie di adeguamenti sulla base della normativa regionale.La Regione Toscana con il DPGR n. 45/R del 07.08.2007, pubblicato sul B.U.R.T. n. 26 del 14.08.2007, ha fissato al 30 giugno i termini per gli adeguamenti degli esercizi esistenti, specificando che per le modifiche strutturali della struttura ricettiva il termine è il 30 giugno 2009. E’ evidente però che ci sono ancora molti dubbi sulla corretta interpretazione della normativa."Pur non avendo competenza in merito perché i requisiti minimi per la classificazione delle strutture ricettive sono state di recente modificati dalla Regione Toscana che ha approvato il nuovo Regolamento di attuazione del Testo unico sul turismo – spiega Mauro Mariotti, assessore al turismo della Provincia di Siena – la Provincia di Siena ha incontrato le associazioni di categoria provinciali facendosi portatrice presso la Regione Toscana delle istanze delle strutture ricettive del territorio. E a questo proposito credo che la Regione possa convocare il tavolo con le associazioni per una valutazione complessiva sui contenuti del provvedimento già dai primi giorni del mese di giugno".Tuttavia in questa fase, pur non avendone competenza, il Servizio Turismo dell’Amministrazione Provinciale di Siena ha ritenuto anche utile fornire un servizio agli operatori inviando lo scorso marzo una circolare per ricordare gli adeguamenti previsti e i termini fissati per la loro realizzazione."E’ giusto precisare, quindi – conclude Mariotti – che le date entro le quali le strutture devono essere adeguate ai nuovi requisiti per il mantenimento del livello di classificazione non sono dettate da scelte discrezionali di questa Amministrazione ma fissate dalla Regione con proprio Regolamento e quindi non modificabili o ulteriormente prorogabili da parte della Provincia di Siena".
Occorre ricordare, infine, che il testo del nuovo Regolamento di attuazione è stato concordato dalla Regione Toscana non solo con i rappresentanti delle Province toscane ma anche con i rappresentanti delle associazioni di categoria regionali che hanno partecipato a una serie di incontri tenuti a questo scopo.
