Domani (28 maggio) alle ore 21,00 nella Sala Maggioredel Teatro Politeama di Poggibonsi arriva in sostituzione un artista di fama internazionale, di straordinaria bravura, già applaudito nei teatri di tutto il mondo insieme a prestigiose orchestre e direttori, quali Temirkanov, Slatkin, Sawallisch, Sir Colin Davis, Vladimir Fedoseev e Daniele Gatti. Si tratta del pianista Freddy Kempf, trentenne, di Londra, ospite in Italia del Teatro alla Scala, delle Serate Musicali di Milano, e del festival “ Settembre Musica” di Torino. Sul palcoscenico anche l’Ort.Diretto da Timothy Brock, il programma rimane di grande fascino e di grande bellezza: nella seconda parte l’omaggio a Gershwin con laRapsody in blu, la più celebre tra le composizioni del musicista di Brooklyn, eseguita nella versione originale del 1924 con gli arrangiamenti di Ferde Grofé, preceduta da Lullaby, una delle pagine in stile classico che l’artista compose nel 1919.Ma già dall’apertura di sipario Freddy Kempf sarà al pianoforte per farsi interprete di una tra le più melodiche e struggenti pagine di Edvard Grieg, il Concerto in la minore opera 16, cavallo di battaglia di molti grandi pianisti del passato.La programmazione della stagione concertistica del Teatro Politeama è a cura della Fondazione Orchestra Regionale Toscana con l’Ort che è protagonista di tutti i concerti.
