I quaranta elementi che compongono la formazione musicale presenteranno un programma con brani "tradizionali" e "moderni"
CASTIGLIONCELLO DEL TRINORO (Sarteano). Domenica 7 maggio (ore 18,30), a Castiglioncello del Trinoro, la banda musicale della Società Filarmonica di Sarteano è protagonista di un concerto nella piazza del borgo (o all’interno della chiesa di Sant’Andrea, in caso di maltempo), che sarà seguito da un buffet. Questa formazione musicale, composta da una quarantina di elementi (tra i quali molti diplomati al Conservatorio), presenterà un programma diviso in due parti. La prima, incentrata su un brano di elevata difficoltà esecutiva: il Capriccio italiano di Čajkovskij, insieme ad altre composizioni classiche, appositamente adattate per questa banda dal direttore Filippo Zambelli. La seconda offrirà composizioni più moderne, quali Reflection of this time di Huggens, Libertango di Piazzolla (alla fisarmonica, Marco Masci) e Serenata per Corno e banda (al corno, Filippo Zambelli). Il biglietto d’ingresso di 10 euro comprende il ricco buffet offerto da Monteverdi Tuscany, società immobiliare che ha valorizzato l’antico borgo medievale, con il restauro di molti immobili, ora destinati ad attività ricettive e di ristorazione.
